Our school community has a set of safe, responsible and respectful behavior expectations for in and out of the classroom. Click below to read the expectations.
1. Friday Assembly: Each Friday morning we meet in the cafeteria at 8:30am to celebrate our Rodgers community. Classrooms perform songs, skits and other theatrical shows. We discuss behavior expectations and review what is good behavior.
2. Monthly Rewards: Students can earn a reward with safe, responsible and respectful behavior. Monthly rewards include: Minute to Win it, Dance Party, Sports Day (April in the "D"), Field trip to Memorial Park, just to name a few.
3. Citizen of the Month: Each month our staff chooses students who show significant improvement academically or behaviorally, who model positive behavior on a regular basis and/or who go above and beyond in some way. They get to have a pizza lunch with the principal, wear a special badge for the month and have their picture taken for our showcase. The names are published on the website as well.
